Technical Support Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a reliable, hands‑on Technical Support Engineer to provide after‑sales service for our new‑energy solutions in South Africa, including inverters, UPS and battery systems. The role combines field installation, troubleshooting and customer training to ensure high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site installation, commissioning and maintenance of inverter, UPS and battery systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by customers.
• Deliver technical training and support to distributors and partners.
• Manage after‑sales service requests, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the headquarters technical team for complex problem solving.

Required profile

• Based in South Africa and familiar with the local market.
• Educational background in electrical engineering, power electronics or a related field.
• Experience in the solar, inverter, UPS or battery industry is preferred.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Strong hands‑on ability and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel locally as required.
