Software Engineer (Back-end)

About the role

As a Back‑end Software Engineer you will design and develop robust, scalable, and efficient solutions on the .NET (C#) framework. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless integrations, high‑quality products, and support the overall success of our online gaming technology stack.

Key responsibilities

• Build, maintain, enhance and deploy software following company and industry engineering standards.
• Write unit tests for all software artifacts and ensure code quality.
• Maintain existing systems while contributing to new system development using the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with other engineers and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Provide second‑line support for software issues and help resolve complex production incidents.
• Monitor system performance, meet SLAs, and optimise reliability.
• Document system architecture, processes, and workflows for transparency and future reference.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of practical experience in the full software development life cycle.
• Strong proficiency in object‑oriented programming, especially C# and the .NET framework.
• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Proficient with relational databases such as SQL Server and writing efficient queries.
• Hands‑on experience with containerisation technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals.
• Demonstrated passion for technology and continuous learning.
