Senior Technician / Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technician / Supervisor to join our team in Bonn Village, Letsitele Limpopo. The role involves leading on‑site installation and maintenance activities for power plant and industrial C&I systems, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technicians, artisans and assistants on site.
• Execute installation activities according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure correct routing, glanding and termination of cables.
• Conduct inspections on instrumentation installations and verify loop checks and continuity tests.
• Assist with calibration, commissioning support and fault resolution.
• Monitor workmanship quality, enforce safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate daily work execution with the Site Manager and allocate tasks to the team.
• Maintain tools and test equipment, and record progress updates.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Process Instrumentation or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a power plant or industrial C&I environment.
• Proven ability to interpret loop drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of DCS systems, field instrumentation and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience in cable glanding, termination, instrument installation and inspection.
• Excellent fault‑finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated capability to supervise teams and allocate work.
