Senior SYSPRO Consultant

About the role

Our client, a leading IT solutions and Managed Services Provider, is seeking a Senior SYSPRO Consultant to join their team in Fourways (ideal) or Durban. The role focuses on solution architecture, complex problem‑solving, project leadership and advisory services for SYSPRO ERP implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex troubleshooting and escalation resolution.
• Act as primary consultant on SYSPRO implementations and upgrades.
• Define and validate business process design and solution architecture.
• Develop advanced and custom SYSPRO solutions.
• Drive GAP analysis and align solutions across business functions.
• Oversee project delivery quality and technical governance.
• Mentor junior and intermediate consultants.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and identify optimisation and revenue opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of SYSPRO consulting or similar ERP experience.
• Proven track record of delivering full‑lifecycle implementations.
• Strong client engagement and commercial awareness.
• Deep understanding of ERP and business processes.

Required skills

• SYSPRO configuration and architecture.
• SQL design, optimisation and troubleshooting.
• Integration design using e.Net, APIs and third‑party systems.
• Advanced reporting, Business Intelligence and data modelling.
• Performance tuning and system health diagnostics.
