Select Team Manager

About the role

The Select Team Manager will lead a group of Insure Select Executive Relationship Managers who serve high‑net‑worth clients and broker portfolios. This role oversees the full short‑term insurance value chain, from complex claims handling to client servicing, ensuring world‑class service and supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing team of Select Executive Relationship Managers.
• Set individual goals, monitor progress, and drive continuous growth.
• Embed Discovery Insure’s culture and mindset across the team.
• Identify performance gaps and deliver coaching, training, and development initiatives.
• Maintain exceptional customer service standards in line with Discovery’s Echoes principles.
• Manage team schedules, assign duties, and ensure efficient operational processes.
• Drive performance metrics such as NPI growth, SLA adherence, claims turnaround, and client retention.

• Proactive, solution‑driven professional with strong leadership abilities.
• Experience managing teams in the insurance or financial services sector.
• Ability to deliver world‑class client service across the short‑term insurance value chain.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture.
