Measurement & Testing Analyst – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Measurement & Testing Analyst ensures that all raw materials meet strict quality standards before they enter production. Working closely with the Raw Material Inspector and the Site Quality Manager, you will drive material acceptance, non‑conformance management and continuous improvement across the laboratory.

Key responsibilities

• Act as custodian of material specifications and manage retention/reference samples.
• Implement sampling plans and testing methods for incoming raw materials.
• Identify non‑conforming materials, make disposition decisions and raise non‑conformances.
• Support the Raw Material Inspector in supplier communication and procurement issues.
• Validate, calibrate and verify measurement and testing equipment, ensuring only validated methods are used.
• Drive Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and participate in proficiency testing schemes.
• Interpret test results, provide professional opinions on non‑conforming outcomes, and communicate findings to manufacturing and quality teams.
• Analyse test data, trend results and equipment performance to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Develop and deliver training programmes related to material testing and quality processes.

Required profile

• Diploma in natural sciences (biochemistry, analytical chemistry or microbiology); TQM/B.Tech advantageous.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience.
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Independent thinker who takes ownership of processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience in validation, calibration and verification of measurement/testing equipment.
• Implementation of sampling plans and material specification analysis.
• Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and proficiency testing participation.
