Junior Bookkeeper – Automotive Finance (Fourways, Gauteng)

About the role

Join a fast‑paced automotive finance team in Fourways, supporting day‑to‑day bookkeeping, reconciliations and general accounting administration. The role is hands‑on and ideal for someone who enjoys structure, detail and keeping financial records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Daily receipting, allocation and banking of workshop and parts cash.
• Processing and reconciling bank statements and preparing daily bank reconciliations.
• Allocating Speedpoint and electronic payments to the correct accounts.
• Managing debtor accounts, following up on outstanding items and maintaining clean cash accounts.
• Processing sundry invoices, loading EFT payments and supporting credit applications.
• Petty cash reconciliations, settlement documentation and month‑end balance‑sheet support.
• Assisting with vehicle stock control, general finance administration and ad‑hoc support to the finance manager.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 (Bookkeeping Diploma advantageous).
• 3+ years experience as a creditors clerk, bookkeeper or similar role.
• Prior bookkeeping experience in an automotive or similarly fast‑paced environment.
• Strong understanding of debtors, creditors, banking and reconciliations.
• High level of accuracy, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Pinnacle accounting software.
• Speedpoint payment allocation system.

What we offer

• Salary range R18 000 – R20 000 per month, dependent on experience.
