Java Developer – Remote Contract (up to $80/hr)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will design, build, and maintain high‑quality backend components that power our enterprise applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Implement secure, scalable, and performant solutions aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and QA engineers to ensure seamless integrations.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend processes for reliability.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following industry standards.

Required profile

• Expert‑level proficiency in Java programming and backend development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Spring and related frameworks.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, microservices architecture, and API design.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
