Hotel Receptionist

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests at Finfoot Lake Reserve, a safari lodge in the Greater Pilanesberg. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, handling guest inquiries, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, complete check‑in procedures and provide information about lodge facilities and services.
• Manage the check‑out process, finalize payments and address any final guest requests.
• Efficiently handle room reservations, including bookings, cancellations and modifications, while keeping guest information up‑to‑date.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests and complaints, offering personalized assistance.
• Arrange special services such as restaurant reservations, transportation and other guest amenities.
• Provide guests with information on local attractions, dining options, events and activities, and assist with directions and transportation arrangements.
• Build positive relationships with guests by anticipating needs, addressing concerns and handling feedback.
