DevOps Engineer – SAS AML Platform (12‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a team responsible for a critical SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) platform operating in a regulated financial services environment. The role focuses on ensuring platform reliability, automating CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud-native infrastructure over a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab or Azure DevOps.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform, Ansible and ARM templates.
• Provide Linux/Unix system administration, monitoring, and incident response for the AML platform.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed DevSecOps practices.
• Support release management, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• 3–7+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in regulated financial services or similar highly-controlled environments.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix administration and scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
