Back End Developer – Core Database Engine

About the role

You will join a world‑class development team building the core data engine of the Everest ERP platform. The position focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining low‑level database services that power AI‑enabled ERP features.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core backend services such as sandboxing and shared functionality used across the ERP suite.
• Develop secure mechanisms to expose stored data to large language models, enabling AI‑driven insights for customers.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on systems programming, database internals and product roadmap definition.
• Work closely with application developers and end‑users to translate requirements into reliable backend solutions.

Required profile

• Strong interest and hands‑on experience with databases and systems‑level development.
• Professional experience (0–3 years) as a software engineer, preferably with PostgreSQL, Aurora or similar database systems.
• Proficiency in Rust or a comparable systems language such as C++.
• Solid problem‑solving and debugging abilities, with a willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
