Tractor Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Tractor Technician to join our workshop team. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of tractor models to ensure reliable performance for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostic tests on tractors to identify faults.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, steering systems and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks including oil, filter and belt changes, lubrication and engine adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
• Communicate with customers to explain required repairs and maintenance.
• Provide recommendations for regular inspections, safe operation and preventive maintenance.
• Assist with inventory management, workshop cleaning, organization and training of new technicians.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to stay current with new technologies and industry trends.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical systems of tractors.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical issues to customers.
• Ability to keep detailed service records.
• Willingness to support workshop organization and mentor junior staff.
