Stock Controller

About the role

The Stock Controller will manage the receipt, verification, and organization of all incoming inventory for our operations in Hout Bay. You will ensure accurate stock records, proper rotation, and minimal wastage while supporting the broader hospitality and restaurant functions.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and check all incoming stock and deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
• Capture and maintain accurate stock data in the system.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances.
• Monitor damages, wastage, and ensure correct stock rotation and storage procedures.
• Collaborate closely with management and operational departments to support smooth workflow.
• Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in stock control or receiving.
• Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication and administrative skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MarketMan inventory management system.
