Senior Project Manager (ZB)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale enterprise programmes within the corporate and investment banking (CIB) sector across Africa. The role will be based in Johannesburg and operates on a hybrid model, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and deliver complex projects and programmes for African banking markets.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships at senior and executive levels.
• Ensure alignment with financial markets and trading environment requirements.
• Monitor project performance, risks and budgets, reporting to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Proven experience in CIB or financial services within Africa.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large‑scale enterprise programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with senior executives.
• Comfortable working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
