Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within a client environment. The role involves scoping, budgeting, risk management and delivering projects on time while applying business analysis and SDLC knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Compile business cases, requirements and process maps.
• Create and manage project schedules, statements of work, backlogs and task prioritisation.
• Manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee project integration, change, budget and cost management, including procurement and reporting.
• Ensure quality management, conflict resolution and negotiation with stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams and handle release and configuration management.
• Prepare steering committee reports and adhere to internal processes and standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree, diploma or certificate in Programme or Project Management.
• PMP certification (non‑negotiable).
• 3‑6 years of project management experience on technical projects (enterprise software, data) and more than 10 years overall experience.
• Experience in the Mining or Banking industry is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
