Senior Project Manager – Digital Technologies

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex technical projects within digital technology environments. The role involves scoping, budgeting, risk management, and delivering solutions for clients in the mining or banking sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Compile business cases, requirements, and process maps.
• Create and manage project schedules, backlogs, and task prioritisation.
• Handle project RAID, integration, change, and quality management.
• Oversee budget, cost, procurement, and reporting.
• Coordinate cross‑functional technical teams and manage release and configuration.
• Report to steering committees and ensure adherence to internal standards.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree or diploma in Programme/Project Management.
• 3–6 years of project management experience and over 10 years overall experience.
• Experience in enterprise software, data projects, and digital technologies.
• Background in mining or banking industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and communication skills.

Required skills

• PMP certification (non‑negotiable).
• Agile practitioner – SAFe or Scrum (or willingness to certify).
• COBIT and ITIL knowledge.
• Scrum Master or EPIC Owner experience.
