Senior Consultant – Freelance AI Project (Top‑Tier Strategy Firms)

About the role

We are looking for a senior strategy consultant with 3+ years of experience at a top‑tier consulting firm to help design realistic consulting scenarios that will be used to train advanced AI systems. The role is fully remote, freelance and focused on translating real‑world consulting engagements into structured learning environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed, industry‑specific project scenarios that reflect authentic consulting dynamics, including financials, constraints and incomplete information.
• Break each scenario into discrete, AI‑compatible tasks such as market sizing, commercial due diligence, cost optimisation, growth strategy and operational diagnosis.
• Create grading frameworks, evaluation rubrics and golden‑answer solutions to enable large‑language‑model based assessment of AI outputs.
• Collaborate with the Toloka AI/Mindrift team to ensure the scenarios align with the overall AI training pipeline.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Monitor Deloitte, EY‑Parthenon, Kearney or Strategy&.
• Proven ability to structure ambiguous client problems, build financial models or market analyses, and deliver client‑ready recommendations under tight deadlines.
• Comfort presenting and defending recommendations in uncertain environments.

Required skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑structuring capabilities.
• Experience designing financial models, market analyses and synthesis of messy data.
