Senior Back-End Developer – Cloud Analytics

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Back-End Developer to join a high‑performing global IT team. You will help build scalable analytics platforms and cloud‑based data solutions that empower data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop APIs and big‑data pipelines using Python, ETL, SQL and Spark.
• Build scalable back‑end solutions for large enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with global teams to support development and operations of applications and features.
• Assist business units with proof‑of‑concepts and value calculations.
• Perform system testing, implementation and quality assurance.
• Review system designs and recommend improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation aligned with ISO standards.
• Create and execute automated test cases, track results in Xray and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Expertise in API and ETL development with Git branching strategies.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (CodeBuild, GitHub Actions) and test‑driven development.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Knowledge of Terraform/IaC, PySpark, and both structured and unstructured databases.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services (S3, Iceberg tables, Data Pipelines) and Linux scripting.
• Strong software engineering mindset with DevOps, security best practices and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Docker, Apache Kafka, Jira, Confluence and Agile methodologies.
