Senior Android Developer (Java/Kotlin/Compose) – Hybrid

About the role

We are a leading security solutions provider seeking a Senior Android Developer to strengthen our consumer‑app team. This hybrid, permanent position offers the chance to work with cross‑functional product, design and backend teams while shaping high‑quality, scalable mobile experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop consumer Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and backend engineers to define, design and ship new features.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews, pair programming and technical guidance.
• Integrate external data sources and RESTful APIs, handling JSON efficiently.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and libraries to improve development efficiency.
• Implement pixel‑perfect UI designs that align with brand standards.
• Ensure applications are stable, high‑performing, scalable and maintainable.
• Debug complex issues, optimise performance and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Participate actively in sprint planning, estimation and retrospectives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience within a development team.
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills, including crash analysis and performance tuning.
• Detail‑oriented approach to implementing designs and maintaining UI consistency.
