Science Teacher – Secondary School

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Science Teacher to join the growing Science department at the School of Science and Technology Maidstone. The successful candidate will work with secondary‑age students, delivering engaging lessons across a range of scientific disciplines and helping shape a new curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality science lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support diverse learning needs.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the science curriculum.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Multi‑Academy Trust to share best practices.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment and uphold safeguarding policies.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching science at secondary level is desirable.
• Commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic, growing team.
