Regional Finance Controller – APAC

About the role

GCO Partners is partnering with Mindtools/Kineo to build a finance team for the APAC region following an acquisition. The Regional Finance Controller will own reporting, month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting and control processes while working remotely from South Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Support regional finance reporting for the APAC territory.
• Own or assist with month‑end close, management accounts and variance analysis.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Support statutory, audit, tax and compliance requirements where relevant.
• Work across multi‑entity and multi‑currency finance operations.
• Improve finance controls, reporting quality and process consistency.
• Partner with regional and group stakeholders to provide clear financial insight.
• Support finance integration and stabilisation after acquisition activity.

Required profile

• CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA or equivalent finance qualification preferred.
• Strong experience in financial control, finance management or management accounting.
• Proven month‑end, reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Experience in multi‑entity, multi‑currency or group finance environments.
• International, APAC, Australia or New Zealand exposure is highly valuable.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote, client‑facing environment.
