Project Manager – Medium to Large Scale Projects

About the role

Step into a high‑impact Project Manager position at Nedbank, where you will lead medium to large‑scale projects across technology, property and engineering disciplines. You will apply Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies to drive transformation, ensure governance and deliver results in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, track, monitor and control project activities to meet time, quality and budget targets.
• Apply Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid and milestone‑tracking approaches according to project needs.
• Mentor and coach teams on Agile best practices and translate epics and stories into actionable tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including product managers, to ensure alignment and visibility.
• Provide accurate cost estimates, manage project budgets and ensure financial compliance.
• Identify and recommend process, system and policy improvements.
• Support corporate social responsibility and culture‑building initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing medium to large projects in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and drive delivery excellence.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
