About the role
We are looking for a hands‑on Project Manager to join our Food Advisory team in Stellenbosch. You will lead multiple client projects, deliver technical consulting on food manufacturing and safety, and work directly with key clients to ensure successful programme delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Own projects from initiation to completion, managing timelines, scope and quality.
- Manage several consulting and advisory projects simultaneously across Africa.
- Deliver technical work related to food manufacturing processes and food safety.
- Coordinate resources, programmes and client contracts.
- Conduct gap assessments, traceability exercises and regulatory advisory projects.
- Support incident management and resolve client issues.
Required profile
- Degree in Food Science or Food Technology.
- Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS).
- Background in food manufacturing, food safety or technical consulting.
- Experience in project management or coordinating multiple workstreams.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and building relationships.
- Hands‑on, problem‑solving mindset.
