Process Engineer – Business Transformation

About the role

The Process Engineer will partner with business units to analyse current operations, design future operating models and drive continuous improvement. You will work closely with product designers, business architects, QA testers and strategy teams to deliver data‑driven process enhancements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize process deliverables using appropriate project delivery methods.
• Conduct As‑Is and To‑Be discovery, analysis and design using recognised techniques.
• Define scope, effort estimates and business cases for process initiatives.
• Identify bottlenecks through process analytics and mining tools and propose remediation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including other Nedbank clusters, to ensure successful implementation and benefit realisation.
• Develop communication and mitigation plans for cross‑organizational impacts.
• Maintain process models in BPM tools, ensuring compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business process analysis and improvement.
• Strong ability to consult senior stakeholders and influence strategic initiatives.
• Understanding of enterprise architecture and value‑chain mapping.
• Experience managing change‑management activities within transformation programmes.
