Pallet Controller

About the role

Premier is seeking a dedicated Pallet Controller to manage pallet movements across inbound and outbound processes. The role ensures continuous, cost‑effective operations while maintaining compliance with food safety and health standards.

Key responsibilities

• Document and capture pallet movements using the CHEP system.
• Issue, return and maintain pallet buffers for packing operations.
• Recover outstanding pallets and perform monthly physical stock takes.
• Download, verify and analyse CHEP reports.
• Resolve customer queries and disputes related to pallets.
• Inspect non‑conforming pallets and coordinate cleaning or replacement.
• Participate in warehouse supervisor meetings to suggest process improvements.
• Provide guidance to the sales team on pallet collection and arrange customer pickups.
• Deliver ad‑hoc administrative support to the warehouse team.

Required profile

• Matriculation with mathematics.
• CHEP online system training.
• MS Office proficiency.
• 3‑5 years experience as a CHEP pallet controller (essential).
• 1‑2 years clerical experience (desirable).

Required skills

• CHEP system operation.
• Microsoft Excel.
