About the role
We are looking for a motivated Outbound Telesales Agent to join our team in Centurion. In this full-time, on-site position you will contact potential customers, present Metrofibre’s products and services, and close sales.
Key responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to leads, databases or prospect lists provided by the company.
- Conduct needs‑based assessments to identify customer requirements and recommend suitable services.
- Handle objections, provide solutions and close sales to meet or exceed targets.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales KPIs and maintain a healthy order pipeline.
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to refine strategies and improve customer engagement.
- Follow up with prospects to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Stay informed on product knowledge, promotions and industry trends.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; post‑matric qualifications are an advantage.
- 1–2 years proven experience in outbound sales, telemarketing or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and a results‑driven attitude.
