Operations Trainer – Night Shift

About the role

The Operations Trainer will deliver product and technical training to operational business units, ensuring new hires and existing staff are equipped with the skills needed for day‑to‑day performance. The role operates on a night‑shift schedule and includes training delivery, assessment, and administrative responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver product and technical training to new hires and existing staff in operational units.
• Conduct refresher, up‑skilling and cross‑skilling sessions to maintain competency.
• Administer and evaluate training assessments, providing remedial support as needed.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance registers and skills matrices for compliance.
• Update and follow hand‑over processes and training standards documentation.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; a higher national certificate or diploma in training & development is preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience delivering training in an operational environment.
• Strong computer literacy with intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office.
