Online Writing Tutor – Flexible Remote Position

About the role

LatinHire is seeking experienced English writing experts to join its team of online writing tutors. As a tutor, you will provide detailed feedback on essays submitted by students ranging from high school to PhD level, helping them improve their writing skills.

Key responsibilities

• Review and critique essays across various academic levels.
• Provide constructive feedback on structure, grammar, punctuation, and citation formats.
• Assist students in developing strong topic sentences, transitions, and use of literary devices.
• Ensure adherence to APA/MLA documentation standards.

Required profile

• Completed a degree program at an accredited institution; bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in essay writing (creative, descriptive, expository, persuasive, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of citation and documentation styles (APA, MLA).
• Proficiency in editing, proofreading, and composition fundamentals.
