Online Maths & English Teacher for Kids (Remote)

About the role

The Really Great Teacher Company is seeking enthusiastic teachers to deliver live online Maths and English lessons to motivated learners aged 6‑18 years in Ukraine. Working from home, you will conduct 55‑minute Zoom sessions for small groups, helping students build strong foundations and prepare for exams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, age‑appropriate Maths and English lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum.
• Teach conversational English and support exam preparation.
• Maintain a positive, patient, and energetic classroom environment.
• Provide constructive feedback and track individual progress.
• Utilise existing lesson materials and follow the prescribed schedule.

Required profile

• National Diploma (any field) and a 120‑hour TEFL certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 6–12 months of Maths teaching/tutoring experience (Cambridge curriculum knowledge required) or at least 2 years of English teaching experience.
• Strong communication, adaptability, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to teach both subjects is a strong advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoom as a teaching platform.
• Knowledge of the Cambridge curriculum.
