Night Shift Fraud Detection Administrator

About the role

The Night Shift Fraud Detection Administrator supports Nedbank’s forensic investigations by registering risk events and providing operational assistance. Working primarily during night hours, the role ensures that all risk incidents are captured, classified and escalated in line with Nedbank risk management policies.

Key responsibilities

• Register risk events in the case management system within defined timelines.
• Classify and prioritize risk events to provide accurate management information.
• Provide administrative support to forensic investigators and other stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal and external service providers to meet expectations and maintain relationships.
• Process vendor payments, procurement requests and staff reimbursements in the Group Finance system.
• Arrange travel, accommodation, venue and equipment bookings in accordance with policies.
• Maintain the asset register and support onboarding of new employees.
• Ensure compliance with risk standards, company policies and Nedbank’s values.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 (National Senior Certificate) – preferred finance‑related degree or diploma.
• 2–3 years of experience in banking or a related risk/compliance environment.
• Understanding of forensic investigation processes and risk event management.
• Ability to work night shifts and manage multiple stakeholder expectations.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to governance standards.
