Measurement & Testing Analyst

About the role

The Measurement & Testing Analyst is responsible for controlling all incoming materials and acting as the custodian of measuring and testing equipment and methods. You will ensure that only validated methods are used and drive continuous improvement across material quality and testing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Control incoming materials, accept or reject based on specifications.
• Implement sampling plans and testing methods, manage material retention and reference samples.
• Identify non‑conforming materials, raise non‑conformances and communicate with suppliers and procurement.
• Manage validation, calibration and verification of measurement and testing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with GLP and develop proficiency testing schemes.
• Interpret test results, provide professional opinions on non‑conforming outcomes, and drive closure of non‑conformances.
• Analyse test results and equipment data trends to identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma in natural science (biochemistry, analytical chemistry, microbiology) or B.Tech (advantageous).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong understanding of Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and demonstrate high energy and grit.
