About the role
RCL Foods is looking for a Maintenance Administrator to support the Baking Division in Tzaneen. The role provides essential administrative and systems support to the maintenance department, ensuring smooth planning, documentation and health & safety compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Planner with activity planning according to professional standards.
- Apply best‑practice planning to improve maintenance efficiency.
- Implement and maintain a robust maintenance strategy and philosophy.
- Initiate and manage preventative maintenance for all sections.
- Update and manage Bestime time‑keeping for the department.
- Conduct health & safety inspections and meet monthly departmental requirements.
- Support the Maintenance Planner with Health & Safety statutory reporting in the On‑Key system.
- Ensure all necessary documentation for maintenance work is available.
- Schedule building maintenance activities.
- Capture and report key performance indicators.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
- Health & safety experience.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Knowledge of ERP/EAMS systems such as On‑Key, Bestime, Syspro.
