About the role
The LPG Account Manager will drive Falcon Gas’s LPG sales volume across an assigned territory. You will acquire new customers, nurture existing accounts, and develop strong relationships with retailers, distributors and end‑users in residential, commercial and small‑industrial markets.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new LPG customers in the designated area.
- Visit and manage a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring regular relationship building.
- Educate customers on LPG benefits, safety practices and Falcon Gas product range.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly volume and revenue targets.
- Identify, onboard and support new sub‑distributors and retail outlets.
- Monitor cylinder stock levels at customer sites and coordinate replenishment with logistics.
- Capture sales activities, customer feedback and competitor intelligence in the CRM system.
- Ensure completion of all sales documentation, including agreements, credit applications and delivery notes.
- Support debt collection by following up on overdue accounts when required.
- Promote LPG safety awareness and represent Falcon Gas at community and trade events.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) minimum; tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing or Business Management is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years of external sales experience in LPG, FMCG, energy or a related sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing a geographic sales territory and a customer portfolio.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to generate and analyse sales reports.
