Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager is responsible for implementing ABInBev safety standards, overseeing silo block operations, barley intake and malt distribution, and controlling costs across handling processes. The role also manages inventory and warehousing functions, ensures compliance with quality guidelines, and drives continuous improvement through budget management and process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with legislative safety requirements.
• Manage inventory, warehousing, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, optimising service levels and productivity benchmarks.
• Implement standard operating procedures in line with DPO standards and oversee VLC, ZBB and FLC budgets against annual targets.
• Lead CAPEX projects, process optimisation initiatives and improvement plans to meet KPI targets.
• Ensure logistics teams adhere to ABInBev quality guidelines and manage stock age to mitigate write‑off risks.
• Conduct regular engagement with direct reports, unions and external partners, maintaining a healthy industrial relations climate.
• Drive daily, weekly and monthly VPO meeting routines and ensure mandatory reporting and performance indicators are met.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and ability to enforce compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, CAPEX projects and cost‑control initiatives.
• Excellent leadership and people‑management skills, including experience with union engagement.
• Ability to analyse data, monitor KPIs and implement process improvements.
