Legal Advisor – Commercial Contracts

About the role

Radiant Law is seeking a motivated Legal Advisor to join its Commercial Contracts team. The role involves working with global clients to draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements while contributing to the firm’s innovative, tech‑forward service model.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as MSAs, SOWs, supply agreements and licensing deals, often under tight deadlines.
• Design, follow and continuously improve workflow processes to maximise efficiency and quality.
• Leverage data insights to enhance the value delivered to clients.
• Collaborate with software developers, legal engineers and document‑automation specialists on continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Document learning, lead internal training sessions and share best practices.
• Progressively take ownership of client accounts and overall service delivery success.

Required profile

• Based in Johannesburg or Cape Town.
• Admitted attorney with 2‑5 years of post‑articles experience.
• Strong background in commercial and procurement contracts; experience in corporate environments is a plus.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑moving, autonomous setting with shifting priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, coupled with a drive for process improvement.
