Lead Digital Trainer

About the role

The Lead Digital Trainer will champion digital learning across the Trust, ensuring that clinical and corporate staff feel confident and safe using new digital tools. This hands‑on leadership position blends training design, delivery, quality assurance and line management to support real‑world digital change.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver end‑to‑end digital training for Trust‑wide systems, using blended methods such as face‑to‑face sessions, virtual webinars and e‑learning.
• Translate complex system and workflow changes into clear, practical learning aligned with clinical practice.
• Support digital adoption by working closely with project teams, clinical services and operational leads to align training with service needs and timelines.
• Develop and maintain training plans linked to project milestones, manage competing demands and provide go‑live support including floor‑walking and drop‑ins.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, continuously update content and share best practice.
• Line‑manage a small team of Digital Trainers, allocating work and supporting development.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering engaging digital or IT training, preferably in a healthcare or complex operational environment.
• Ability to translate technical or clinical change into clear, accessible learning for staff with varied digital confidence.
• Experience with NHS systems or clinical environments is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence is desirable due to travel across Trust sites.
