Junior Social & Digital Brand Manager

About the role

Join L'Oréal's Professional Products Division (PPD) in South Africa as a Junior Social & Digital Brand Manager. You will help grow the digital presence of iconic salon brands such as L'Oréal Professionnel, Kérastase, Redken and Matrix, bridging creative storytelling with measurable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, schedule and publish monthly social media calendars across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, aligning with global guidelines and local priorities.
• Produce on‑the‑go visual content – short‑form videos, reels, stories and behind‑the‑scenes footage – tailored to the South African market.
• Engage with the digital community of consumers and professional stylists, monitoring comments, messages and brand mentions.
• Identify, onboard and manage local lifestyle and beauty influencers as well as professional hair stylists, coordinating product shipments, press kits and campaign tracking.
• Showcase stylist talent and salon transformations through dedicated spotlight features.
• Maintain brand websites with up‑to‑date product catalogs, salon locators and localized promotional banners.
• Support e‑retail partners by providing high‑quality digital assets, banners and copy to optimise online sales.

Required profile

• Junior‑level experience or strong academic background in marketing, communications or a related field.
• Passion for beauty and hair‑care brands with an understanding of B2B and B2C digital dynamics.
• Excellent written and visual storytelling abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
