Junior Graphic Designer (Retail/Fashion)

About the role

Our client, a leading clothing retailer in Midrand, is looking for a creative Junior Graphic Designer to join their marketing team. This full‑time, office‑based position offers the chance to develop visual content that supports brand identity and drives customer engagement across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design marketing collateral such as posters, flyers, catalogues, and in‑store promotional material.
• Create social media graphics, email marketing visuals, and website banners.
• Produce and edit short videos, animations, and digital adverts.
• Develop AI‑assisted design concepts using modern creative tools.
• Ensure all outputs follow brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to launch promotional campaigns.
• Prepare artwork for both print and digital publishing.
• Assist with photography editing and content preparation when needed.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of graphic design experience; retail experience is a plus.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and time‑management skills.
