IT Support & Operations Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support & Operations Administrator to join our team in Parktown. This role is ideal for an early‑to‑mid‑career professional who enjoys solving day‑to‑day IT problems, supporting users, and working across Microsoft‑based environments and operational IT tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve IT support tickets both onsite and remotely.
• Provide first‑line assistance for password resets, Microsoft 365 issues, printer problems, connectivity, and laptop troubleshooting.
• Deliver second‑line support for complex user access, device, software installation, network connectivity, and system incidents.
• Support laptops, desktops, printers, networks and business systems.
• Assist with Microsoft 365 and Azure environment administration, including user account provisioning and off‑boarding.
• Escalate issues to vendors or senior engineers when required.
• Participate in IT setup, deployments, and operational support activities.
• Document issues, fixes and support procedures clearly.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in IT support or operations.
• Comfortable working in a ticketing/ITSM environment.
• Good understanding of general IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure or Active Directory.
• Clear communication and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to take ownership of issues and work calmly under pressure.
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Information Systems or related field; relevant hands‑on experience also considered.
