iOS Developer – 6-Month Contract (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our team on a 6‑month renewable contract. The role is based in Johannesburg and follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office. You will work on cutting‑edge mobile payment and digital wallet applications for the banking and financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and related frameworks.
• Implement UI components with SwiftUI and UIKit, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage data persistence with Core Data.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver features for mobile payments, digital wallets, and card payment solutions.
• Maintain code quality through CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and Objective‑C.
• Hands‑on experience with Combine, Core Data, Core Animation, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Experience building banking, financial services, or mobile payment applications is highly desirable.
