Host Team Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Host Team Manager leads the daily operations of the Rooms Department at a premier luxury resort, ensuring seamless guest experiences from the moment they enter the lobby. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this role combines team leadership, service excellence, and operational oversight in a vibrant waterfront setting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily activities, reporting, training, and operations of the Rooms Department.
• Support the Front Office/Guest Services team to deliver the highest level of guest service.
• Direct guest flow in the lobby, answer inquiries, and coordinate the Connectivity Center.
• Track, resolve, and prevent service issues and guest complaints.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the Host Team, ensuring a smart, neat appearance and meticulous standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Office Manager on operational strategies and financial goals.
• Maintain detailed service know‑how and protect brand standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in luxury boutique hotel or resort guest service.
• Strong leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished, professional appearance.
• Critical eye for detail, especially regarding cleanliness, hygiene, and service quality.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and resolve guest issues.
• Strategic planning capabilities to meet financial and operational targets.
