About the role

The Head of Healthcare Operations leads the delivery of high‑quality, commercially sustainable healthcare services across RMA’s facilities. This senior position shapes strategic direction, ensures clinical governance, and drives continuous improvement in occupational health, rehabilitation, and return‑to‑work outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate healthcare services across prevention, primary care, acute care and rehabilitation to align with occupational health objectives.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all healthcare platforms, ensuring patient‑centred service delivery.
• Drive clinical quality, patient satisfaction (CSAT/NPS) and compliance with care standards.
• Manage financial performance, budgeting and cost optimisation while maintaining utilisation targets.
• Oversee facility compliance, accreditation, maintenance, health‑and‑safety and infrastructure upgrades.
• Ensure governance, risk management and audit processes meet legislative and clinical standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with providers, employers, funders and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in healthcare operations or occupational health.
• Strong track record of delivering operational excellence and financial stewardship.
• Deep understanding of clinical governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
