About the role

Join Standard Bank Group’s Insurance & Asset Management Technology Graduate Programme as a Solution Architect. You will be immersed in a technology‑driven environment where you design and deliver scalable solutions that support the bank’s investment and insurance offerings across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical designs.
• Develop, test and deploy architecture solutions using cloud platforms and integration APIs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure solutions align with TOGAF and Agile methodologies.
• Support live production environments through monitoring, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Participate in rotations across the technology lifecycle to gain end‑to‑end exposure.

Required profile

• South African citizen under 30 years of age.
• Post‑graduate qualification (or completing by 2026) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Software Development, Data Engineering, Data Science or Quantitative Risk Management.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for technology‑enabled financial services.
