Graduate Software Engineer – Web ERP Development

About the role

We are looking for a motivated graduate software engineer to join a multinational skincare company's development team in Cape Town. You will work on a web‑based ERP platform and related websites, gaining hands‑on experience with modern web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and test new features.
• Fix bugs, maintain existing code, and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle of web‑based systems built on Ruby on Rails.
• Document work and share knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong foundational knowledge of CSS, JavaScript, HTML, databases and backend development.
• Understanding of object‑oriented programming principles.
• Self‑driven, detail‑oriented and eager to learn.
