General Worker – HVAC Maintenance

About the role

Sasol is seeking a General Worker to support the continuous availability of its Secunda Operations plant by performing effective maintenance on HVAC equipment. This role is based onsite at the world‑largest coal‑to‑liquids facility in Secunda, Mpumalanga.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain all HVAC and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Wash filters, clean HVAC units and cooling towers.
• Sand and paint HVAC units and associated equipment.
• Clean storerooms, plant rooms and HVAC yards.
• Carry tools and equipment within the allowable weight limits.
• Operate the mobile Wap HP machine on a trailer for specialised tasks.
• Adhere to safety and good housekeeping standards at all times.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate or N3 qualification with English proficiency.
• Ability to communicate and correspond in English.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code EB/EC1 preferred).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience using mechanical hand and power tools.
