French‑Speaking Customer Service Agent – Cape Town

About the role

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) is seeking a French‑speaking Customer Service Agent to join its Cape Town contact centre. The role supports a Canadian shipping client, handling parcel‑delivery enquiries from French‑speaking customers. You will work onsite in Woodstock, Cape Town, within a fast‑paced environment, providing accurate information and ensuring a positive experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer interactions in French with professionalism and empathy.
• Investigate delivery‑related queries, provide tracking updates, and resolve service concerns.
• Communicate next steps and outcomes clearly to customers.
• Maintain detailed, accurate case notes and manage complaints according to quality standards.
• Aim for first‑contact resolution and meet individual and team performance targets.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English.
• Matric qualification or equivalent contact‑centre experience.
• Ability to work night shifts (3 pm – 6 am, Monday to Sunday).
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑obsessed mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using contact‑centre software and tracking systems.
