About the role
The Food & Beverage Cost Controller at Kiara Lodge is responsible for managing the financial performance of all food and beverage items. You will calculate costs, plan pricing strategies, and ensure accurate inventory control across the resort.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate and analyse costs of food and beverage items.
- Develop short‑term and long‑term pricing and controlling plans.
- Record data and produce periodic control reports.
- Oversee receiving, issuing, storage and inventory management.
- Conduct daily stock counts and maintain proper documentation of merchandise movements.
- Report variances, take corrective actions and liaise with suppliers to negotiate pricing.
- Ensure stock rotation and maintain clean, tidy storage areas.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar cost control or inventory role.
- Strong administration, management and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to work public holidays, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- On‑site accommodation provided.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
