Finance Operations & Compliance Coordinator

About the role

Globe 24-7 is looking for a Finance Operations & Compliance Coordinator to support its expanding global finance function. Based in Cape Town and working remotely, you will partner with the Head of Finance and a distributed team to ensure smooth finance administration across African entities and other regions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide finance and operational support for African entities, handling day‑to‑day administration and coordination.
• Coordinate payroll activities, manage follow‑ups and approvals, and support finance workflows across multiple regions.
• Track compliance requirements, maintain governance documentation, and ensure key obligations are met.
• Assist with banking administration, vendor coordination, insurance renewals, and other finance‑related operational tasks.
• Support entity administration, finance documentation, and operational coordination for the global business.
• Contribute to finance process improvements and strategic operational initiatives.
• Act as an operational partner to the Head of Finance, driving priorities, stakeholder accountability, and delivery across regions.

Required profile

• Experience in finance operations, accounting, payroll coordination, compliance or finance administration in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial reporting, reconciliations and large data sets.
• Accounting background or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (highly regarded).
• Effective stakeholder management and follow‑up skills.
• Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to support a global business.
