Executive Director

About the role

The Retreat at Beaufort is looking for an Executive Director to lead day‑to‑day operations of its assisted‑living community. Reporting to the Director of Operations/COO, you will own profit‑and‑loss performance, staff leadership, resident satisfaction, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with OSHA, state and federal regulations, fire safety, and licensing requirements.
• Review, interpret and act on monthly financial reports; manage budgeting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable.
• Drive revenue by overseeing sales and marketing, lead generation, rent‑up strategy and community positioning.
• Lead and develop staff, communicate priorities, and maintain effective time‑management and multitasking.
• Represent the community publicly, delivering presentations to groups, professionals and government officials.

Required profile

• Hands‑on operations experience in an assisted‑living or senior‑care setting.
• Proven ability to manage P&L, budgets and financial performance.
• Strong knowledge of state/federal regulations governing senior‑care facilities.
• Leadership skills to motivate employees and ensure resident/family satisfaction.
