Director of Revenue & Reservations

About the role

The Director of Revenue & Reservations will lead the reservations, revenue management and DMC booking operations for a portfolio of lodges, camps and safari experiences across the Western Cape and broader African region. Reporting directly to the Executive Committee, this senior leader will align commercial strategy with operational execution to maximise guest satisfaction and financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end guest booking journey from enquiry to travel completion.
• Develop and implement revenue and yield management strategies for all properties.
• Optimize reservation systems and processes to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate multi‑location teams in Cape Town and across Africa, ensuring consistent service standards.
• Travel extensively throughout Africa to support operations and drive commercial performance.

Required profile

• South African citizenship.
• Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years experience in a 5‑star hotel or high‑end travel environment.
• At least 5 years in senior management roles.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Property Management System (PMS) platforms.
